Dr. Rhonda L. Harmon, MD is a board-certified general surgeon in Orlando. She serves as Director of Research at AdventHealth Surgical Residency Program. Dr. Harmon focuses on breast cancer surgery. She earned her medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston, South Carolina. She went on to complete her medical residency in surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where she attained Chief Resident status.

Dr. Harmon has a special interest in melanoma and oncoplastic breast surgery, as well as minimally-invasive techniques. As an established member of the medical community, Dr. Harmon serves in a variety of leadership roles, including as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Florida State University and University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Prior to moving to Florida, she was Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery.
