Jeremy Drake, MD

Jeremy Drake, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in robotic surgical techniques for addressing colon and rectal cancers. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine where he received multiple academic scholarships, he undertook his internship in general surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville followed by his residency training at the University of South Alabama in Mobile before being tapped for a highly selective fellowship at the Colon & Rectal Clinic of Orlando. His primary clinical interests include screening and treatment for colon and rectal cancers, pelvic floor disorders and benign anorectal diseases.

Dr. Drake is a native English speaker with an ability to speak conversational Spanish. He is also a former Division I student athlete in soccer who was an Academic All-American. He has previously devoted significant time to volunteering efforts within and beyond his community, including providing medical care to underserved people in Rwanda and Birmingham, Alabama.
